Once Upon A Time....

...there was a boy named David....

And a girl named Blair....

They went to Hanover College...

Awhile after graduation, they got married... (not that the two are connected. We didn't even like each other in college!)

It was quite the honeymoon....

It sure has been a crazy, blessed first 21 months... new church, lots of cuddles, new job, fun with old friends, making new friends, a honeymoon -"redo," camping trips, buying cars, switching jobs, family vacations, teaching Sunday school, losing loved ones, friends having babies, small group Bible studies, more new jobs, learning how to be grownup taking care of sick parents, daily routines (and learning to be flexible!), Bravo's and Martini's, Los Aztecas (we're VIPs), crazy cooking (good and bad), friends moving away, friends getting married, preparing to move...and last but certainly not least....a baby on the way!!!!!! Below is Blair with Bridget and Sarah. She is about 24 weeks along in the picture below. We can't wait to meet Baby "Scout"!

Hello! Welcome to our new blog. David and I are setting this up to keep family and friends up to date on our lives. Almost certainly, you will not find us to be very exciting. (...though David just interrupted to insist that he is indeed quite exciting.) We live in Louisville, KY and continue to be amazed that life can be so full and happen so quickly. We were married in October 2005 and are expecting our first baby in September.

The most important thing you need to know about us is that we love God and desire to live our lives in a way that all that we say and do points to Him. We mess up on this a lot but pray that we grow more like Him each day.

Hopefully we'll come up with something interesting to write about. Thanks for reading.
